Pilates Instructor

UM SPORTS is looking for a new Pilates Instructor to teach classes in for the Student Sport Association ONDA. Do you have experience teaching Pilates? Then we'd love to hear from you!

Pilates Instructor ONDA 

ONDA Maastricht is a student-led yoga and pilates association on campus. Their goal is to offer more than just classes, we are building a community where movement, connection, and balance come together. We aim to create an inclusive environment where students of all experience levels can improve their physical and mental wellbeing while connecting with others who share a passion for mindful movement.


Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and approachable Pilates Instructor who enjoys working with students. The ideal candidate has:

  • Experience teaching Pilates classes.
  • A recognised Pilates certification, such as BASI, STOTT Pilates, Polestar Pilates, or Balanced Body Education.
  • The ability to teach in English.
  • The ability to adapt classes to participants of different experience levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Availability to teach 1 hour class per week on Sundays, between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM (exact time to be agreed upon).

  • Working hours: 1 hour class per week on Sundays, between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM (exact time to be agreed upon).

What We Offer

As a Floor Barre Instructor at the Student Services Centre, you will become part of the most international university in the Netherlands. We offer:

  • A one-year contract for 0.04 Fte (1 hour per week).
  • The position is classified in salary scale, 7 according to the Dutch UFO-profile for Sports Instructor (level 4). Depending on your experience, the gross monthly salary ranges from €3.057,- to €3.985,- based on a full-time appointment (38 hours per week). In addition, you will receive an 8.0% holiday allowance and an 8.3% year-end bonus.

The employment conditions of Maastricht University are largely governed by the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU), supplemented by local regulations specific to Maastricht University.


It is also possible to work on a freelance (self-employed/ZZP) basis.
